Permaculture Design Course at Tui Community

This course covers the standard two week international Permaculture Design Certificate curriculum, taught over an extended 3-week period in an integrated hands-on way, culminating in a comprehensive land-use design project.

Taranaki Permaculture Design Certificate 2016-2017

This Permaculture Design Certificate is 13 days over an 8 month period. To receive your Certificate you need to attend all days. Or, you can attend any days you are interested in, without receiving a certificate.

Interactive & Practical: Learning through a mixture of lessons, activities, group discussions, and hands-on projects to build peoples’ practical skills, enhance learning, and have fun!

Auckland bioregional PDC - Landscape Design workshop

This workshop introduces participants to the fundamental concepts of ecological literacy and regenerative landscape design. Students will learn to read landscapes, sample soils, map and record ecological and space-based information, and use and apply basic design tools to the design of a real property. The design tools and methods learned in this workshop will form the basis for practical activities and projects throughout the APW programme. This workshop is essential for anyone interested in developing practical skills in design and permaculture.

Auckland bioregional PDC - Built Environment workshop

Buildings consume 40% of the world’s resources and 55% of the harvested timber. They also generate 40% of total solid wastes and 40% of the world’s harmful wastes. This workshop is an introduction to ecologically responsive building design for the Auckland bioregion. This workshop is ideal for participants wanting to learn how to design sustainable, safe, healthy and comfortable living environments. The days learning will be applied to a practical design activity supported by experts in the field.
