Learn the secrets of the trade and get your growing business off to the best start. We will cover all the essentials:
Farm design, setting up infrastructure, tools of the trade, bed preparation strategies, production planning, managing fertility, growing techniques, plant propagation, weeding techniques, season extension, specific crop information on salad mixes, microgreens and seasonal vegetables. We will also cover management, marketing and accounting strategies.
This workshop is a practical workshop, and we demonstrate lots of techniques in the field. You will receive a resource bundle with more than 25 documents that include information regarding local suppliers, tools, growing information, charts and templates.

Small-scale organic farming is the fastest growing sector in the horticulture industry, and there is a need for more growers everywhere. Come and join us in this new episode in food production!
Organic morning and afternoon tea will be provided on Saturday and Sunday. Please bring a plate to share for a potluck lunch on Saturday. The workshop includes an organic lunch on Sunday.
