To train people to use local materials for construction.

Friday March 20th 9 am until Thursday March 26th 5pm
6 days workshop, free day: Monday 23rd,

Each day consists of 6 hours of practical work and 2 hours theory

Where:
Waikawau Bay, North Coromandel

Price:
$630 for the 7 days. Includes full meals and basic accommodation.

Mostly hands-on, making real building projects
•Introduction to natural construction
• Tools: use and maintenance
• Selecting and testing soil for building.
• Mixtures. Mud additives and natural stabilizers
• Natural building techniques: adobe blocks, light straw-clay, timber frame, cob, etc.
• Natural plasters
