Discussion about cost of face to face meeting as a large yet important part of our costs for the year and considered essential to operation of the Council.

Discussion about the reduced size of this Hui and organisation / challenges. Floyd spoke of the challenges this year. Bryan Innes spoke of the need to plan to make a profit as good business practice. Robina Mc Curdy asked learning be recorded for future Hui and the exisiting Hui Wiki was mentioned. Lillee Star reminded us about the proposal to have Hui of two years hence organised and affirmed this is a good idea. Rory Forerty asked if research was done into why those at previous years Hui are not present this year, Nandor agreed this was a good idea to follow-up. Robina McCurdy suggested considering making the Hui a Bi-annual event. Suggested Hui 2018 in the Tauranga/Coromandel Region or South Island.

Nandor suggested this conversation be moved to a Open Space session. Generally agreed.

Acceptance of the Financial Report moved: Trish Allen, seconded Bryan Innes
